I would not hesitate to use Par TV service if I every need TV services in the future. As a 10 year electronics technician veteran in the US Navy, I have enough experience to recognize a knowledgeable technician. I found Parviz (Tom) to be extremely professional and a talented electronics technician (and a heck of a nice guy!). I described the symptoms to Tom (Dead Sony XBR - Standby light/diagnostics flashing 6 times) and the model number. He showed up the next morning, 10 minutes early, with the correct part and had our TV working in 40 minutes. His price for superior service was VERY reasonable and included some significant travel.
